A-SPEC.RRT history

A-SPEC.RRT was founded in 18th august of 2003. A month earlier, in july of the same year, LFS S1 came out. volk and Koffy already acquainted themselfes on the plains of russian LFS forum, http://lfs.4sure.info. Right there, on formerly wonderful forum playground, future team founders discussed car setup questions, details of driver's mastership and nuances of team tactics.

When august came, a matter of team creation has been highly anticipated, and thus A-SPEC.RRT, first team, representing russians in LFS community, was born by Koffy and volk.

With passing of time different racers were joining and leaving the team, of course, influencing us one way or another. End of 2003/beginning of 2004 was rich in terms of team growth. In december 2003 termite joined the team, but sadly, he left us quite fast. In the same month team found smith and S.Konyshev, whose help in developing team by itself and team projects can hardly be overestimated. A bit later ART.Doberman, talented designer/3d modeller joined us. In the same time Alex SV, big admirer of 4WD drive in general, and Subarus in particular, extended our rows.By the end of january Dserje, quite fast guy, joined us.

So, when 2004's winter came to its end, team backbone was formed. Regular practices and discussions showed up. Our racer's level has been constantly increasing, what was especially great since some of us came completely unexperienced in racing and car handling, in both driving and technical aspects.

During june 2004 BlicKrig, young and perspective racer, secured his place in the team.

Meanwhile, some racing events were organised, what allowed A-SPEC.RRT to join international arena of virtual racing. In the summer's end, because of our efforts, A-SPEC Racing Club, open online championship site, was launched. Everyone willing could join serious championships to test themselves.

By the end of 2004, with every new championship's stage, step by step, our team advanced to the new level of existence and finally established itself in the international arena, becoming well known.

Year passed and old team members had no time for LFS any more for various reasons. In June 2005, after a talk with VOLK and Koffy, ekze decided to join a team and rebuild it from the scratch to stay competitive in international arena.

Long story short: during 2005-2009 period of time many racers joined and left our squad. A-SPEC.RRT had some shocking and outstanding results, such as fighting to win the OLFSL championship in both team and driver cups and was in favour position till the last race. Pitifully, because of disconnect, team failed to win any of this cups.

For some time of this period team was lacking activity, but in year 2010 we started to slowly move away from Live for Speed to iRacing.com Simulation and participated in some championships there.
